After traveling to Bicheno, Tasmania in 2009 for the National Scooter Rally, it seemed time that Queensland play host to the event again. Brooke and I put forward Stanthorpe in one of the state's cooler climate areas, and after some deliberation the decision was made. It proved to be a great success with scoots coming from Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, the ACT and Queensland.

Such a success, that we decided to run an event in Stanthorpe annually. It's called the Stanthorpe Barrel of Apples Scooter Rally and we think it's going to be a cracker in 2011. We're also helping out with the Boreen Point Scooter Rally, which is about to enjoy it's fourth successful year on the 'Scooter Events Calendar'.
