It’s January 2009, and this time, Brooke and Ulls venture down to the Apple Isle alone. In their Big Red Van, they hit the road with the scooters and luggage loaded, ready for adventure.
From the beginning, this trip was more than a little shaky. The van blew its turbo a week prior to departure and with time against them, it was looking more and more likely that they would be riding the 1,800 km to Melbourne. This would have caused a few headaches, not to mention two sore bums. Seeing as both scooters had recently been the recipients of major engine surgery, it would also mean that the start of the journey would be done at running in speed.
