ROUTE

We didn’t really have a route mapped out for this adventure. Bicheno was always going to be our first port of call, for the National Scooter Rally. After that, we headed north and just let each day play out.
Making our way around the north east corner, we spent a few days in Launceston, using it as a base for day trips around the area. Visiting Ben Lomond was amazing, even in summer.
The Salamanca markets in Hobart had been recommended to us by many sources, so due to the timing of events, we then decided to push right through the middle of the island and make our way to the capital.
Again, using Hobart as a base, we made day trips around the area before heading toward the west coast for our last week.
Out to Derwent Bridge, Strahan and ending our Tour of Tasmania with a beautiful couple of nights in Cradle Valley, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would return in a heartbeat.
