My brother Ulick and I spent our younger years in Singapore until we moved to Australia and we haven't been back since. For me, South East Asia is a home I left long ago and is still waiting for me to return. It was a great place to grow up surrounded by people from many different cultures. Like many things though, it's not until you loose them that you realise how important they are to you, and that's what this trip is about. Reconnecting with the past.

As kids, we were fortunate enough to spend holidays in Malaysia either on tiny remote islands or in the Mountains for a change of temperature. We learnt a lot about the rest of Asia but never really got to see much of it. I'm going to try and revisit places I saw as a child and see them with grown up eyes. Then i'll head north to where i've never been, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal and finally India.

I'll be taking a different bike this time, most likely a large capacity single cylinder dirt bike.

There's lots to plan still so we'll see how we go....
